i got started in real estate at the age of 23 when i bought my first townhome back in 1993. then the market went down. and having paid a hefty price for a townhouse back then ($129,000) for a 2bd/1.5ba with a HOA fee of $133/mo. that is quite a bit.
that same townhome sold last year for $390,000.
